Billy Dean Roberts Jr, age 60, of Kansas City, MO sadly left us on Dec. 8th, 2023 at 5:45 am in his home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was diagnosed in April of this year with AML. (Leukemia).
Survivors include his wife and high school sweetheart, Joni Roberts (Bell); son, Billy (Sherrie) Roberts III; daughter, Whitney (Caleb) Juhnke; grandchildren, Camille, Billy IV, Landon, and Breck Roberts, Ruth, Faith, MacArthur and Thaddeus Juhnke; siblings, Tenna Shotpouch, Barbara Helmick and Johnny Roberts; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; one Uncle, Rick Roberts and many, many cousins and so many friends.
He was preceded by his father, Billy Dean Roberts Sr.; mother, Wilma Roberts (Kirby); brother Jimmy Starr; grandparents, John and Carrie Kirby, Mertie Johnson and Glen Rice Roberts.
Bill was born in Eureka, Missouri on January 9th, 1963. He went to Esther Grade School in Leadington, MO. He then moved to Jay, OK and finished Jr High and High School and graduated in 1981. After High School he worked on an Oil Rig in Oklahoma as a roughneck.
In 1983 he moved to Stillwater, OK and started working for Cable companies as an installer and then became a cable technician. He also worked in Siloam Springs, AR and Grove, OK as a Cable Technician and had over 20 years in this field. Finished out working in Kansas City, MO at Bell’s Management Company.
Bill attended several churches and loved his church families throughout his lifetime. He was attending Tiffany Fellowship Church when he passed.
Bill enjoyed many activities and hobbies including watching OU and Dallas, which he loved, spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He enjoyed playing games, with his son, grandkids, siblings and many friends. He always kept the pool perfect for his wife and grandkids to enjoy. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturay December 16, 2023 at Tiffany Fellowship with a visitation from 12:00 to 1:00PM prior to the service. Burial following will be at Second Creek Cemetery.
